We reinstall the prepared chip or transfer a suitable component from a donor board. We agree the price and scope before starting.
Boards from other equipment, including automotive electronics
We accept removed circuit boards from appliances, tools, control equipment and vehicles. We confirm whether a particular job is feasible after inspecting the board condition, chip type and access to the contacts.
- For boards from other equipment, including automotive electronics, a donor board is mandatory. Bring the removed board itself and a suitable donor board. We do not accept these boards without a donor.
- A donor is a board with a suitable component to transfer. Having a donor does not guarantee compatibility or a working component. Provide the device model, board and chip markings, and identify the component to transfer if known.
- Do not bring the vehicle or the complete device. Vehicle diagnostics, module removal, refitting and coding are not included in this service. If the faulty component has not been identified, agree the availability and scope of board diagnostics in advance.
- We check the completed work within the available testing capabilities. We cannot guarantee operation of the whole device if it has other faults or the donor is unsuitable. Completed work carries a 6-month warranty.
