When is a replacement needed?
Cracks, black patches and damaged images often indicate panel damage. Flicker, lines or a missing picture can also come from a cable, connector or board. We identify the cause before replacing parts.
Matching the correct panel
We check the laptop and panel codes, size, resolution, eDP connector type and position, thickness and mounting. The same 30 or 40 pin count does not guarantee compatibility. Configurations vary within ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer and MSI series.
IPS, OLED and refresh rates
IPS is an LCD panel technology; LED describes backlighting, so these are not opposing options. OLED works differently. A brighter or faster panel requires compatible cabling and laptop support. We only recommend upgrades after checking compatibility.
How replacement works
We disconnect power and the battery as appropriate, remove the bezel and release screws or adhesive mounts. We fit and secure the new panel, reassemble and test the display. Bonded screens and complex assemblies involve more labour.

We stock screens for almost all manufacturers and usually complete replacement usually within 1 hour. Very rare laptops, touchscreen models and laptops purchased less than two years ago require a separate screen order. We confirm compatibility and delivery time for the exact model.
What does €40–80 cover?
Screen replacement, fastening, reassembly and functional checks. The panel or display assembly is separate. Hinge, case, cable and board repairs are not automatically included and require separate agreement.
Checks and preparation
We test the image, brightness control, supported refresh rate and touch response where fitted. We check lid movement and functions affected by disassembly. Bring the laptop and charger or send its model and a photo. Files do not need deleting. Work carries a 6-month warranty.

Price references checked on 8 September 2026: Screenshop Full HD IPS approximately €70, a 240 Hz panel €199. IPC standard IPS examples approximately €67–89, a 165 Hz example €99, and an original higher-resolution Acer panel €267. These are supplier part prices with different VAT and delivery conditions. Can you replace just the glass?
It depends on the design. Usually the panel is replaced; a touchscreen may require the bonded assembly. We assess the options individually.
Can I upgrade the display?
Sometimes. We check the connector, cable, dimensions and laptop support. A higher refresh rate alone does not establish compatibility.
Does the table include the screen?
Yes, the last column combines part and labour. The separate €40–80 figure is labour only.
