Computer upgrades
- We plan upgrades around your tasks and budget. We establish whether storage, memory or performance is limiting the computer, or whether a repair is needed instead.
- Laptop upgrade options depend on the model. We check SSD connections, RAM slots and limits, and manufacturer support. Soldered memory or storage cannot be replaced as a standard plug-in upgrade. CPU and GPU replacement is not available for every model.
- For desktops we assess the motherboard, CPU, RAM, drives, graphics card, power supply and cooling. We check compatibility, case space and which existing parts can be retained.
- Options include replacing or adding an SSD, increasing RAM or upgrading other compatible components. If additional parts are needed, we agree the full estimate before purchase and installation.
- Drive cloning, data transfer and Windows installation are agreed as additional services. We do not erase data without consent. We recommend backing up important files beforehand.
- After work, we check detection, startup, temperatures and stability as appropriate. Additional BIOS, driver or system work is agreed beforehand.
- Labour costs €25–85 depending on construction and scope. Components, materials, licences and additional services are charged separately. We confirm the total before starting.

What warranty applies?
Work carries a 6-month warranty. Parts have separate terms.
Do you upgrade laptops too?
Yes. SSD, RAM and other upgrade options are checked for the exact model. Soldered components and manufacturer limits can restrict upgrades.
