The console turns on but the TV shows no picture? A black screen alone does not prove that the HDMI port is broken.
Check the connection first
Select the correct HDMI input on the TV. Try another suitable cable and another TV HDMI port. Connect the console directly, without capture equipment or other intermediate devices. These checks are recommended by PlayStation Support.
Distinguish different symptoms
Does the TV report no signal or show a black picture? Is the console indicator lit? Can you hear audio? These answers do not establish a diagnosis, but help describe the fault clearly.
Keep a short test log
Note the TV model, ports and cables you have tried. If another display is available, record whether the problem repeats. You do not need to buy many accessories just for testing: existing information may be enough for an initial conversation.
Do not force a damaged port
If the cable was pulled sharply, the plug sits loosely or contacts look bent, do not force it into position. Do not heat the connector at home. Stop testing and have the console inspected.
When should you contact Kmvle, MB?
If simple checks do not help, bring the console and its HDMI cable. Tell us whether the fault began after moving it, a drop or a settings change. We will discuss the repair, cost and timing after inspection. We do not promise that replacing the port fixes every black-screen problem.
Practical checklist
- Check the selected HDMI input.
- Record the cables and displays tested.
- Do not force or heat a damaged port.
