Replacement labour €40, fan separate. If replacing the fan requires heatsink removal and fresh thermal paste, add €40 (total labour €80). The table includes one fan and €40 labour; add €40 to the total only if the thermal paste service is required.
Estimated one-fan and labour total, not a fixed quote for every model. Code, side, original or compatible part, condition and delivery affect the price. Two-fan replacement is quoted separately. Usually the same day with the part available; order lead times are agreed.

When does a fan need replacing?
Rattling, grinding, difficult startup or no rotation can indicate mechanical failure. Constant high speed can also result from load, dust, sensors or other faults. We identify the cause first.
Which MacBook Air models have fans?
Intel MacBook Air models have a fan. MacBook Air models with M1 and later Apple Silicon chips are fanless, so this replacement service does not apply. We assess other causes of heat in those models.
How is the part selected?
We use the Axxxx code, year and part number where needed. Different generations and processors may use different parts. In dual-fan models we identify the faulty side; replacing a healthy second fan is not automatically necessary.
How is replacement performed?
We disconnect power and the battery as appropriate, remove the cover and required components. Some MacBook Pro models require logic board removal. We fit the matched fan, check cables and reassemble.
When does the extra €40 apply?
Only if fan replacement requires lifting the heatsink and renewing thermal paste. Logic board removal alone does not always require fresh paste. If the heatsink thermal contact stays intact, this additional charge does not apply.
What is tested afterwards?
Rotation, unwanted noise, temperatures and operation under load. Files do not need deleting and macOS does not need reinstalling. Work carries a 6-month warranty; part terms are separate.
Timing and total price
Usually the same day with the part available. Ordered-fan delivery is agreed in advance. Heatsink, connector or board repairs are not automatically included and require separate agreement.
