Motherboard repair
- A desktop that will not start, restarts or shows no picture may have a motherboard fault. Power supply, RAM and graphics card problems can cause similar symptoms. We identify the source before recommending repairs.
- We inspect the board, connections and components, measure power circuits and check for short circuits and startup behaviour. Where appropriate, we test with known-good compatible components.
- We repair identified power circuit and electronic component faults, such as damaged capacitors, transistors or controllers, where replacement is technically feasible. Measurements determine the soldering work needed.
- We assess damaged USB and other connectors, contacts and corrosion. CPU socket and complex chip replacement are quoted separately. Not every damaged board can be reliably restored.
- Labour costs €60–150, with a turnaround of 1–3 days. The price depends on fault tracing, soldering complexity and testing. Component costs and any additional delivery time are agreed beforehand.
- After repair, we check startup, device detection and the repaired circuit. Stability and temperature checks depend on the configuration. We report any other component faults found.
- Board repair does not itself require erasing drive data. We recommend keeping a backup of important files. Any required Windows, BIOS or data recovery work is agreed separately.
- Bring your computer to Savanorių pr. 40, Vilnius. Bringing the complete desktop allows us to test its components together. Completed work carries a 6-month warranty.

How much does repair cost?
Labour costs €60–150. Required components are charged separately. We agree the final total after diagnosis and before repair.
How long does repair take?
The estimated turnaround is 1–3 days. If components need ordering or the fault is complex, we agree a revised timeframe beforehand.
Does no picture mean a motherboard fault?
Not necessarily. RAM, graphics card, power supply and other faults can cause this. Diagnosis establishes the cause.
Do you repair power circuits?
Yes. We identify damaged components and assess whether replacement is feasible. The work depends on measurements and board condition.
Can every board be repaired?
No. Severe damage or unavailable components can make repair impossible or uneconomical. We can discuss replacement in that case.
Should I bring the whole PC?
We recommend the complete desktop so we can test the power supply, RAM and other components together with the board.
Will my data remain?
Motherboard repair does not itself require erasing data. We still recommend backing up important files beforehand.
Is BIOS programming included?
If a separate BIOS update or external programmer service is required, we agree its scope and price beforehand.
What warranty applies?
Completed work carries a 6-month warranty. Terms for replacement components are discussed separately.
