How does virus removal work?
01 · Check the system
We discuss the symptoms and check suspicious software, browser extensions and startup programs. A slow computer does not necessarily have a virus.
02 · Remove detected threats
We remove detected malware and unwanted software, intrusive extensions and the settings they changed. We discuss preservation of important personal files before starting.
03 · Check the result
We repeat the security check and check the browser, system operation and protection status. We explain what was detected and what work was completed.
04 · Discuss protection
We provide advice on updates, backups and safer software installation. If account details may have been exposed, we recommend changing passwords from a trusted device.
What should you prepare before your visit?
Your files and accounts
Tell us which documents and other data must be preserved and whether you have a backup. Do not send account passwords through the enquiry form; we will agree on any access needed when accepting the device.
When is additional work needed?
The €30 price covers the virus and malware removal service. Windows reinstallation, data recovery, hardware repairs and paid security licences are not included. If needed, their scope and price are agreed before work starts.

Questions about virus removal
How much does virus removal cost?
The service costs €30 including VAT per computer. It includes a system check, removal of detected viruses and malware, and a follow-up check. Additional work is agreed separately.
Do you remove malware from both laptops and desktop PCs?
Yes. The €30 virus and malware removal service is available for both laptops and desktop PCs.
Does Windows need to be reinstalled?
Not always. We first assess whether the system can be cleaned. If system damage requires Windows to be reinstalled, we explain why and agree separately on the price and preservation of your data.
Will my documents and photos be preserved?
We plan the work to preserve personal data. If files are already damaged or encrypted, we assess the situation and explain the options. We contact you before actions that could affect important data.
Can you remove intrusive ads and browser extensions?
Yes. We check unwanted extensions, notification permissions and changed browser settings. We remove detected threats and address the causes of unwanted advertising.
Is an antivirus licence included?
A paid antivirus licence or subscription is not included. We check the status of existing protection; any additional paid solution is discussed separately.
How long does the work take?
We usually complete the work the same day. The exact time depends on the amount of data, scan duration and system condition. We confirm the expected turnaround when accepting the device.
Will removing malware recover encrypted files?
No. Removing malware does not by itself decrypt files that it encrypted. Data recovery options are assessed separately, without promising a guaranteed result.
