PC case replacement and component transfer
- We transfer desktop components from an old case to a new one. We discuss which parts you are keeping and any cooling, fan or component changes before starting.
- The €40–100 labour price depends on the configuration and transfer complexity. We consider liquid cooling, the number of fans, RGB controllers, drives, cables and additional cards. We confirm the price beforehand.
- We check the new case for motherboard, power supply, graphics card and cooler compatibility, radiator and fan mounting positions, and connections.
- We disconnect power, carefully dismantle the system and transfer the motherboard, power supply, drives and graphics card. We secure components and connect the front panel and compatible fans.
- We route cables clear of fans and airflow paths. Compatible RGB connections and controllers are connected for the selected configuration.
- Liquid cooling can add work: we assess radiator mounts, tube routing and access. Custom loop disassembly, coolant changes or additional parts must be discussed beforehand; we do not perform extra work without approval.
- After assembly, we check startup, video output, front-panel ports, fans, temperatures and stability. We report any problems found with other components.
- A case transfer does not require erasing files or automatically reinstalling the operating system. We recommend backing up important data before bringing the computer.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a case transfer cost?
Labour costs €40–100, depending on components, cooling, fans, RGB and cabling. The case and extra parts are charged separately.
Does liquid cooling affect the price?
Yes. We assess radiator, tube and mounting transfer. Custom loop disassembly or servicing is agreed beforehand.
Does having many RGB fans add work?
Yes. More fans, RGB cables and controllers require more connection, cable routing and testing work.
Can I bring my own case?
Yes. Send the case model and computer specifications before purchase so we can check compatibility.
Will all components fit?
Not always. We check motherboard format, GPU length, cooler height, power supply and radiator space.
How long does it take?
Usually the same day. Complex cooling, incompatible parts and additional work are discussed beforehand.
Will my files and Windows remain?
A case replacement does not itself require erasing drive data. System work is performed only by separate agreement.
What warranty applies?
Completed work carries a 6-month warranty. Case and other parts warranty terms are stated separately.
